Whether they are waiting by the front door when you get home, fetching your slippers or licking your face, dogs show us their unconditional love each and every day.
Toss Ups™ is committed to enhancing the relationship between K9’s and their humans. Perhaps one of the most impactful relationships between a pet parent and their pooch is the relationship between assistance dogs and their owners.
Assistance dogs are specifically trained to provide aid to people with disabilities to enhance their independence and can be the difference between life and death when a seizure hits without warning.
Since 1989, Can Do Canines has provided assistance dogs free of charge to people with disabilities such as mobility challenges, hearing loss or deafness, seizure disorders, diabetes complicated by hypoglycemia unawareness or children with autism.
It costs more than $25,000 to train and place an assistance dog and Can Do Canines relies on contributions to support its important work. Toss Ups™ is proud to be a supporter of their important work and a portion of our proceeds is donated to their efforts.
